I'm am so sorry. I never installed the ecofont that I promoted to the list yesterday. As the exchange below describes, it appears the web site has been hacked and the downloaded file installs something other than the font. A file called "Antivirus 360" appears and cannot be removed. It may very likely be malware that can harm your files. Please disregard the font. It is a great idea and many institutions could benefit from cutting their toner use, but for now we have been duped.

I can't get rid of it. Hope you are well. I think it probably was quite related - that's why I asked Robin to look at it first. At work if you hold the mouse over a hyperlink, it shows it's true nature. Robin taught me that trick a while ago. So everyone, please don't open up the link. Melissa, do you want to write to Michael and tell him what happened? He sent it to the whole Permaculture group. So, the lesson here is, never open a link unless you know for sure what it is. Sorry to have passed it on. HI Barbara, I'm not sure if it was related, but I clicked on the website for this and now have "Antivirus 360 Protection Center" that won't go away. I'll have Robin help me try to get rid of it. Be careful if you look at this link. Ecofont http://www.ecofont.eu/ecofont_en.html The prints we make for our 'daily use' not only use paper, but also ink. According to SPRANQ creative communications (Utrecht, The Netherlands) your ink cartridges (or ink toner) could last longer. SPRANQ has therefore developed a new font: the Ecofont. "After Dutch holey cheese, there now is a Dutch font with holes as well." Appealing ideas are often simple: how much of a letter can be removed while maintaining readability? After extensive testing with all kinds of shapes, the best results were achieved using small circles. After lots of late hours (and coffee) this resulted in a font that uses up to 20% less ink.
