Max,

I finally decided to upgrade to 0.3.2a, and upon running "fink 
selfupdate" I got hung when Fink tried to unpack 
"packages-0.3.2a.tar.gz" (it hung during the "tar -xzvf -").

I found the following message in the archives -- is there an official 
bug fix, or should I follow the instructions below? (I'm brave)

Sorry if you've already announced a fix, I must have missed it.
