I have xfree86 version 4.1 installed from a cd I got called The Darwin Collection. I appear to have a successful x server going. I installed Xdarwin and seem to have no problems.
I then found out about fink and I thought I would give that a whirl. I tried getting windowmanager and when I apt-get or dselect, it wants to download a whole version of xfree again. How do I tell Fink that I already have xfree? Or is it easier to let it install it again? Should I just let it overwrite what I have?
