[Fink-beginners] "fink selfupdate" through CVS fails

Hi!

I'm using Fink 0.3.2a, Xfree86 4.2.0, XDarwin 1.1, and OS X.1.2
I wonder if someone else is getting the same error as me. Whenever I try to update package descriptions directly from CVS via "fink selfupdate", I get the following. The first time I open the terminal and type the command, after asking me for the password and confirming the CVS direct update, it fails this way:

U dists/unstable/main/finkinfo/x11-wm/windowmaker-0.80.0-2.info
U dists/unstable/main/finkinfo/x11-wm/windowmaker-0.80.0-2.patch
### su failed, exit code 1
Failed: Updating using CVS failed. Check the error messages above.

If I then insist on "fink selfupdate", it fails but now on this point:

cvs server: Updating dists/unstable/main/finkinfo/x11-system
cvs server: Updating dists/unstable/main/finkinfo/x11-wm
### su failed, exit code 1
Failed: Updating using CVS failed. Check the error messages above.

Further trials also fail on this last place. What's the matter? I have no clue what to try.
