i'll have to admit -i was trying to get all the icons right in Gnumeric for
a while a few months ago, until i gave up.

but i really wanted to see it so i decided to buy that CD and see if it
installed it correctly... worked well.

now i have a question about a couple of items:

TeXShop with Gerben Weirda's teteX live:

i want to install eterm... but it says it has dependencies that it wants to
install, namely, Xfree86 and ghostview... both of these are already on my
machine and working well.
i tried selecting the systemx (or whatever it's called) that's supposed to
be a "placeholder?" thinking that would be good and not install another
Xfree.
and i don't think i want another ghostview.

so... then it said systemx (or whatever it's called) wasn't good enough...
so i could never install eterm (or Xemacs).

i can tell this is going to happen a lot -what should one do?

HELP?

thanks in advance.
