OK, that's more than fine if it can run alongside, as the only apps I NEED run under Aqua. The ones that merely make life easier are the X11 apps. Now, I expect people to try to convince me to use the fink-based install, but if I go download the monolithic XDarwin installer, will the X11 apps I get through fink work under XDarwin. Is XDarwin actually the same thing as what I'm getting through Fink? I ask, because XDarwin claims full 4.2.0, whereas in the Fink packages, it's showing up as 4.1.99.2001...this being important to me, as have several Radeon cards, and 4.1 doesn't appear to support Radeon cards, and 4.2 does. _______________________________________________ Fink-beginners mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/fink-beginners
