I am trying to load and install the "gimp-1.2.3.tar.bz2" file from a CD (and NOT downloading the ~40MB file via the 56k modem) and then install.
I have "gimp-1.2.3.tar.bz2" installed from a CD to the /sw/src directory. Do I need to use a command like... "fink build gimp-1.2.3-4 gimp-1.2.3.tar.bz2" to build a package before using "fink install gimp-1.2.3-4" to install gimp from the /sw/src directory?
