I'm no newbie to the Mac since I have been developing software for it for
over a decade but I am pretty new to OS X and somewhat new to UNIX. In
the last five years I have also been doing a lot of Perl CGI for web
development.
I'm a bit lost here. I have my OS X server up and running. I needed the
GD library for a postcard web application I have developed.
I used Fink to install it... but, I don't get it! Where did it end up
and why can't I now add the Perl line....
use GD
without a configuration error?.. like, it doesn't see GD anywhere. I
have managed to install MySQL (before I heard of Fink) and I have that
fully integrated into my scripts. I have had no problem installing my
own pm files and getting them acknowledged.
Anyone got a flashlight?
