[Fink-beginners] SOX and Ogg-Vorbis

Title: SOX and Ogg-Vorbis

I’ve got libogg, libogg-shlibs, libvorbis, and libvorbis-shlib installed via Fink. I also have SoX installed via Fink.

I can’t encode or decode .ogg files. According to the SoX documentation:

    Ogg Vorbis  in  sox  is  optional  and  requires
                 access to external Ogg Vorbis libraries.  To see
                 if there is support for Ogg Vorbis  run  sox  -h
                 and look for it under the list of supported file
                 formats as "vorbis".

I do that, and it does not show “vorbis” as a supported file format. Running “fink list” shows that the four above-mentioned libraries are installed.

Why is SoX not recognizing them?
