My computer spent the past 5 hours installing and compiling Gnome. It
had come so far, and I just got a fail error. Apparently I am missing a
file. Once I find that file and get into my system how do I continue the
compiling from the point it stopped? I was using fink to install it for
me. Do I have to run it all over, or does fink pickup where it stopped?
This is the error I got.

** Error: readline.la has no associated shared library;
** You may be missing a shared library from: -L/sw/lib readline
/usr/local/lib/libncurses.la

make[1]: *** [check-dl] Error 1
make: *** [all] Error 1
###  failed, exit code 2
Failed: compiling librep-0.14-5 failed

I will try to find the file I need, but if you know right where to go,
then please don't hesitate to point me in the right direction. Thanks.
