Hi. I've been having a whole heap of trouble getting fink to work through the Uni proxy. I did fink configure and put the proxy address in in the form http://username:[EMAIL PROTECTED]:3128/ (which is all correct) but all fink does when I try to do anything is "couldn't resolve proxy 'busja680'" Which of course is my username, not the proxy address.
I CAN get dselect and apt-get to work sometimes. I (for some reason) have to re-enter the proxy address using fink-configure, and then it'll work, otherwise it gives me the same "couldn't resolve proxy" error. Any ideas? BTW, I'm using fink 0.32a because I had this installed and I can't use fink selfupdate because of the above error. And the 0.4 installer says don't use it to update fink...
