The last time I submitted a plea for help concerning Gnome it was over a dlcompat issue. Since then I discovered that it was making calls to /usr/local directory which I moved so I could build Gnome. I moved it back and launched Gnome via the Terminal.app so I could watch the process. Well Gnome launched but I got loads of warnings and criticals displayed in Terminal. What I would like to know is where can I get these files?
** WARNING **: Unable to load module: libpixbufloader-png.so: dlcompat: file "libpixbufloader-png.so" not found Gdk-WARNING **: locale not supported by C library ** CRITICAL **: file gdk-pixbuf-render.c: line 349 (gdk_pixbuf_render_pixmap_and_mask): assertion `pixbuf != NULL' failed. These are just a few of the error read outs. As well when Gnome was running it was very slugish. I would click on something and it would take several seconds before anything happened. (IE Launching the Control Center.) My system is a G4 733 MHz Tower with 512 Mb of ram running Mac OS X 10.1.4 I am running that latest version of XDarwin, the latest version of fink, and the latest version of Gnome. (To my knowledge that is.) _______________________________________________ Fink-beginners mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/fink-beginners
