Are you asking about the Fink amaya package?  All Fink packages are
compiled from source using the Apple Developer tools (which are based on
GNU tools).  To find out how amaya is compiled, consult the file

  /sw/fink/dists/stable/main/finkinfo/*/amaya*.info

What you will find there is a recipe which Fink follows to do the
compilation.  It will look mysterious at first, but it is not too hard to
learn to read these files and see what Fink does if you say "fink rebuild
amaya", for example.  Look in the "packaging" section of the documentation
on the Fink website for a detailed description of these files.
