Hello James, 

My apologies for coming across heavy.  What would be the requirement to rev
up again?  Is 'fink' stabilizing and rev'ing up fink to get newer packages
likely to be a requirement?

My experience with volunteer efforts has always been that the next
step/version will be ready when it is ready ;-)
