Please excuse my ignorance if this qusetion is too basic of if I should have read the FAQ more slowly.
I downloaded FinkCommander out of curiosity, and out of curiosity added Unstable to my path. I then did fink-selfupdate and then update all. Does that mean that the things I had installed, which were nearly all current, got updated to an unstable version? An awful lot of downloading and compiling went on (it lasted about 5 hours or more). How "unstable" are these versions? I don't mind a missing feature, but true instability would be unsettling.
