I understand UFS won't allow you to install Fink's xfree from source. A problem with xfree on another list rendered this reply from the maintainer: Date: Fri, 31 May 2002 09:55:58 -0600 (MDT) From: Jeff Whitaker <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: scmarcos <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> cc: Jean-Fran ois Mertens <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>, <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subject: Re: [Fink-users] Another xfree problem X-AntiVirus: scanned for viruses by AMaViS 0.2.1 (http://amavis.org/) I bet you are trying to build xfree on a UFS partition. This is currently impossible - you have to either build it on HFS+ or install the binary package. -Jeff _______________________________________________________________ Don't miss the 2002 Sprint PCS Application Developer's Conference August 25-28 in Las Vegas - http://devcon.sprintpcs.com/adp/index.cfm?source=osdntextlink _______________________________________________ Fink-beginners mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/fink-beginners
