1) After trying out xterm, rxvt and Eterm, I've determined that
Eterm seems to be the only acceptable terminal program for
XDarwin out of the three, simply because xterm and rxvt take
years to simply scroll down a single line in most programs.
Has anyone else had this experience? Is there a cause? Could
this be related to opaque-window-dragging being annoyingly
slow as well?
2) I've spent a good hour making Eterm appear like a normal
terminal -- e.g., no silly backgrounds, use standard ANSI
colors, use `sabvga' and `shine' fonts. However, I can't
seem to get Eterm to display bold. Setting the `font bold'
option causes every character to be bold. Any clues?
Other than these two UI quirks, my experience with XDarwin
w/blackbox has been a great success.
