To make use of the fink installed libraries etc. just throw

setenv LDFLAGS '-flat_namespace -L/sw/lib'
setenv CFLAGS '-no-cpp-precomp -I/sw/include'

into your ~/.cshrc. (That's my config, and the -flat_namespace and
-no-cpp-precomp aren't necessary to just make use of the fink libraries, but
you'll probably need them anyway...)

If you want to make a fink package (which is actually not so hard, I tried
once and had some success, but it turned out I needed kde, which wasn't
available at the time), you need to read:

http://fink.sourceforge.net/doc/packaging/index.php

Good luck!
