Hi,
I'm hoping someone can help.
I have some files I need to unzip, and I need the unix utilities zip
and unzip for Mac OS X because Aladdin Expander chops off part of the
filenames.
Now, I've read the FAQ on changing the fink.conf file to include
unstable release material, I checked the archives for more
information, but could only find a post about how zip and unzip were
being moved to unstable.
I have also checked the unstable listing at sourceforge, and zip and
unzip show up as being in t\he list,
The sources.lst file is the same as what is posted on the news page
at soureforge relating to the move of the distribution.
However, zip and unzip are still not showing up in
/sw/fink/dists/unstable/main/finkinfo/utils
So, can someone please tell me how to fix fink so I can get unzip and
zip? I don't wish to keep having to download files onto my windows
machine, use aladdin expander on the files there just to unzip them
properly, start the ftp server, and then use wget to transfer
everything across.
Any and all help appreciated.
