You want to create a customer xinit file. copy the xinit file from 
/usr/X11R6/etc/xinit/
like this

sudo cp /usr/X11R6/etc/xinit/xinitrc /User/your_name/.xinitrc

After that edit that .xinitrc file. At the end of it you will see 
"start some nifty programs" ot something similar. You can edit that 
to launch the programs/window managers you want.
startx and have fun
