I have installed fink recently again (I had to rebuild my computer) and
I have attempted to install two packages - gimp and grace - that I had
before. I used the same commands I have used before (sudo apt-get
install gimp) but I get 'couldn't find package error' every time I try.
(I did 'fink scanpackages' and 'sudo apt-get update' several times) I
have browsed through faq-s and mailing lists and all reference sI could
find (to this problem) suggest that I might be attempting to install
binary packages that do not exist (for unstable packages). I have done
this before so I am assuming that those still exist? What could be the
problem - I really don't want to go through installation from source...

Thank you!
Zrinka
