That's because you don't have the unstable branch activated.

sudo cp 
/sw/fink/dists/unstable/main/finkinfo/x11/autocutsel-0.6.2-1.info  
/sw/fink/dists/local/main/finkinfo/

will make fink accept and install the 0.6.2 version (which is in 
unstable, and the above command puts it in your local branch). (Also, I 
think this would have made fink find the source, since the .info in 
unstable on closer inspection contains the address I indicated).
