Yes, you said that before. I would still like to know *which version* it 
was you installed. "fink list xfree86".

As you have noticed, there is something wrong with your installation of 
xfree86. If you want someone to help you, you need to be more 
forthcoming with details of your fink installation.

There are several different reasons possible that can lead to the 
problem you have been seeing. Among the most probable ones: 1. You 
installed then fink-0.4.0 distribution and did not do the upgrade for 
10.2 as described on the fink web page. 2. You did the upgrade, but 
incompletely. In particular, you either didn't update your package 
descriptions or didn't activate the unstable tree.
