My new question is: do I need to deinstall the xfree as installed and 
reinstall it from fink (if i want to do an update all in the future.)

Being new to UNIX, I'd also like to know how i can delete JUST the 
binary xfree86 package before I reinstall it via fink (if indeed I need 
to do that.)
