[Fink-beginners] Help: How to start "eval.rb" in Ruby

Title: Help: How to start "eval.rb" in Ruby

Dear sir,
I installed the ruby successfully, and could run the program by providing the source code in the file.
However, I want to type the code in the interactive mode,“eval.rb” mode. I can’t find the the file, eval.rb.
Could someone give me some suggestions? Thank you very much.
My system is OSX 10.1.5, Fink 0.10.0-1, Ruby 1.6.6 (2001-12-26) [powerpc-darwin5.5]
