I successfully updated my iBook to the Jaguar version of Fink and have been happily running fink selfupdate-cvs then fink update-all flawlessly for weeks now.

two days ago though when I ran the above commands, everything seemed to work ok then after running fink update-all fink spewed out:

fink needs help picking an alternative to satisfy a virtual dependency. The
candidates:

(1) gnome-vfs-shlibs: The GNOME virtual file-system libraries
(2) gnome-vfs-ssl-shlibs: The GNOME virtual file-system libraries, with SSL support

now selection 1 was the default and I picked it then it said:
fink needs help picking an alternative to satisfy a virtual dependency. The
candidates:

(1) gnome-vfs-dev: The GNOME virtual file-system libraries
(2) gnome-vfs-ssl-dev: The GNOME virtual file-system libraries, with SSL support

I picked 1 again as the default and then fink said:

Failed: Internal error: node for xfree86-rootless already exists

I've tried this picking 2 for each selection getting the same results.

I went on the Fink irc channel and some nice folks there suggested it was a bug.

does anyone know how I can fix this?
