Did you follow the "bootstrap" instructions or the "update"
instructions?  You download the same file for each, but run different
scripts to do the job.  If you ran the bootstrap instructions you can
get back to where you were by deleting your new directory (If I
understand correctly, /sw2) and then follow the updgrade instructions.
