What does it means when fink returns :Well, maybe there is really no package name in this file. Did you look?
No package name in /usr/sw/fink/dists/local/bootstrap/finkinfo/debianutils-1.16-1.info
What does "head -3 /usr/sw/fink/dists/local/bootstrap/finkinfo/debianutils-1.16-1.info" give? It hould give
Package: debianutils
Version: 1.16
Revision: 1
If it doesn't, your file got corrupt.
OTOH, if this only concerns files in local/bootstrap, it is of no consequence, because these files are no more used after the end of the bootstrap procedure, so you can safely remove them.
