Since you are running Jaguar, you should have an extra CD, included with Jaguar's distribution (either in Jaguar's full install CDs, or in Jaguar's Update Install CDs) that contains the 10.2 Developer Tools. I suggest that you make a Custom install, selecting *all* the install packages included in the CD. There is even an October 2002 Developer Tools update, that you can download from Apple's Developer web site. You must register to that site, to be able to download software, the basic subscription is free. Before you follow the instructions, how to install, for the first time, Fink in a system running Jaguar, please pay attention to the detailed instructions included with this kind of installation, and also to the many remarks, suggestions, etc., posted in this list. A new installer, specific for Jaguar, is in the make, if you prefer or can wait.
