check the program's makefile. Verify that it is using "/sw/include" and not
"/include".

Subject: [Fink-beginners] Where does gcc look for headers?

I tried to compile a program from its source. make gave an error

        header file 'libintl.h' not found

Loacte tells me I have that file installed

kuddel% locate libintl.h
/sw/include/libintl.h

But it seems it can't be found coss it's in the /sw directory. Is there
anything in the envirnment like a path where to look for headers, how
can I set that. Or should I build a symbolic link to the expected
location, where is that?

Thanks

hs

P.S.: i hope that's not to off topic.
