[Fink-beginners] Unable to start any programs in Fink; can't get any commands workingeither in Terminal or XFree86 Windows

Hi

    I'm running a iMac G4 or iLamp 800 MHz with a Superdrive in OSX 10.1.5.  Two days ago I installed Fink together with FinkCommander and XFree86 newest version. XFree is starting fine in OSX but I am unable to start any programs in Fink, although I have installed a IA32 Emulator, as advised by the 'Wine help team'. 

    I actually need to install Wine-20021031 to run Window programs within the OSX environment without resorting to a Virtual PC Emulator. I generally dislike MS.

    I have tried everything I could think of to start programs through a Terminal window. I followed various tutorials I found on the WWW. However, I am unable to get any programs started either in Terminal Windows or XFree-86 Windows.  Please help what code or what instructions do I have to write into the Terminal Windows or the XFree windows to get anything started?
