I'm trying to do a fink update-all. I have bundle-kde-ssl
installed, and all told about 35 packages remain to be updated
(thank you for fixing kdegames3, by the way!). However, the update
fails because something is trying to install xfree86-rootless-threaded.
That of course won't work because I have regular xfree86 installed.
As far as I can tell, my options are:
1) Find out what package(s) depend on the -threaded branch
and deinstall them. How do I do this? Fink doesn't provide such tools
for interrogating the dependency database.
2) Install the -threaded branch, replacing the regular xfree86.
Are there any packages besides Matlab that break if I do this? I don't
have Matlab installed and don't plan to.
3) Is there a (3)?
