This sounds like an old error in the mv command that is supposed to have disappeared long ago. What is your "mv" ('where mv')?mv: rename /applications/fink/src/root-xfree86-base-4.2.1.1-1/Applications to /applications/fink/src/root-xfree86-rootless-4.2.1.1-1//Applications: Directory not empty ### execution of mv failed, exit code 1
Another thought: You seem to have told fink to use /applications/fink instead of /sw. Now the HFS file system is supposed to be case-insensitive, so it shouldn't matter that the directory's real name starts with a capital A. But not all Unix commands respect this case-insensitivity as they should. Maybe if you replace 'applications' by 'Applications' in the Basepath line of your /sw/etc/fink.conf file, this could make a difference. Not sure about this, though.
In any case...
You are out of luck here. When the deb file is not finished, you have to restart the compilation from the beginning. (Or, of course, you could chicken out and use system-xfree86 and a precompiled binary from XonX).Anyway to restart the install without having to install everything again (This takes like 3 hours on my computer)?
