Run a "fink selfupdate-cvs" and try again, fixed this yesterday in cvs.

Hello. I looked in the archives and am still stumped.
Trying to install Gnome (bundle-gnome) on OS X 10.2 on a fresh install of
fink (and thanks for your help with that).
I keep getting the following:
"
How do you want to proceed? [2] 2
curl -f -L -P - -O
ftp://ftp.rpm.org/pub/rpm/dist/rpm-4.0.x/popt-1.6.4.tar.gz
curl: (7) Connection refused
### execution of curl failed, exit code 7
Downloading the file "popt-1.6.4.tar.gz" failed.

(2) Retry
How do you want to proceed? [2]
"
So I tried to follow the archived suggestion, which was to try using a
different mirror. I couldn't find a list of mirrors for popt, so I tried
changing some of my mirror options in the fink configuration. That didn't
help. (Apparently, I would then install popt and restart my gnome
installation.)
With other packages, I've been told that a mirror refused my
email/password, and I've been given the option to try a different mirror
from the same continent or a different continent. This time I'm not given
any options.
What can I do, please?
Many thanks,
Complex
