Hi all!
I've installed the new fink and I'm trying to run xmms. However, esound
is giving me problems. When I try to start it simply by:
bash-2.05a$ esd
using device Built-in audio controller for output:
with sample rate 44100.000000, 2 channels and 32-bit sample
unsupported device.
bash-2.05a$
..well, as you can see, something is wrong. Unsupported device. Why is
that? I'm not running any other applications using the soundcard or
anything like that. I've tried with
esd -public -tcp -port 160001
esd -trust -tcp -port 160001
as seen on the mailing-lists but without success.
Does anyone know how to fix this?
