This question probably has an obvious answer that I am overlooking, but whenever I use fink, without exception, my 802.11b hub resets.

All I have been trying to do is install giFT and every time a curl statement is executed my internet connection shuts off. Is there some arcane way I'm supposed to set up my wireless router when using fink?

I'm totally clueless.

I have been doing

fink install giFT

and the following always happens:

[tenkamuteki:~/sourceforgestuff/giFT] jmorris% fink install autoconf
sudo /Applications/Utilities/Fink/bin/fink install autoconf

How do you want to proceed? [4] 2
curl -f -L -P - -O ftp://ftp.club.cc.cmu.edu/gnu/autoconf/autoconf-2.13.tar.gz

with no more output after that. and my router always resets itself, cutting off my internet connection. This never happens when I am not using fink.

Someone help? :)
