I used Fink to take care of installation and compilation and I cannot
seem to make it happen under Apple's X11. I tried using pico to create
a simple script in a new .xinitrc file in home. That only stripped the
windows out of my X11 terminal and glued it to the top of the screen. I
exited terminal, used the terminal.app to sudo a rm of the offending
script and all is well again. If I go to any terminal and startx I get
an error that the display is already running.

Is this making sense? Is using WindowMaker doable under Apple's X11?

Scott
