Which model of PB are you using? My machine is also PowerBook. It's G3
Wallstreet, 1998 model with US layout, but the behavior you get is very
different ...
Even in simple things like the default xterm, backspace works but
delete does not and I get a tilde character instead. It looks like the
backspace correctly generates the Backspace keysym as does the delete
key (using the fn key) which generates the Delete keysym? Any ideas?
Don't you have other sources of keymapping modification on your system?
