Hi all,

I found some packages interesting, but they are in unstable. According to documentation on fink web site, I added next thing to fink.conf :

unstable/main unstable/crypto

Then, I ran "fink index", and then "fink update".
"fink update"? Just like this?

Then, I wanted to update the list of available packages (with unstable packages of course). I didn't find the command to do it with fink, so I used apt-get :
fink selfupdate-cvs

sudo apt-get update

When running this command, next errors appears (logs) :

Err file: unstable/crypto Packages
  File not found
You should run "fink scanpackages" to fix the internal database for apt-get.
[]
and I always have 121 packages in the database without any unstable package...
The unstable packages will not show up with apt-get. Read the FAQ about the difference between binary and source distribution.
