I've been trying to get gnuplot for the last couple days, with no
luck (fink 0.5.0a, freshly installed, on OS 10.2.3). Basically, it's not
listed in dselect at all (even though it's a dependency of octave, which
is listed), so I tried 'fink install gnuplot' which resulted in an error
from curl when it tried to pull the gnuplot tarball from
ftp.gnuplot.vt.edu. I looked around there, and it basically looks like the
development version (0.8.0) which fink was looking for is gone, and only
the stable release (0.7.3) is still up.
So, is anyone else having these problems, and is there a way to
get gnuplot (preferably so that fink recognizes it's existence, although I
guess I can override it any time it's a dependency).
