Hi,
I am trying to install GIMP 1.2.3 on an Mac OS X 10.2.3 using Fink 0.5.1.
Installing Fink was smooth and using it I installed necessary packages like
gtk etc. ... and GIMP.
Being rather unfamiliar with UNIX I do not know how to go on from here. I
tried to start GIMP by typing 'GIMP' in the Terminal but then I receive two
warnings:
GdK-WARNING **: locale not supported by C library
GtK-WARNING **: cannot open display:
Can anyone help a novice?
