I could be wrong, but is it perhaps something to do with your fink configuration file? Maybe something to do with using passive mode for ftp? I think you need to set the use passive mode for ftp to yes if you haven't already. You run 'fink configure' to set it up. Someone may wish to correct me if I'm wrong though - although it won't hurt to try. Cheers, David.

and every mirror fails, but if I connect to the server manually with ftp (command line or NetFinder) it has no problem. If I try the (echoed) command manually from the command line I get the same error:

I am at a bit of a loss....
