Hi: I have 10.2.3 with the latest developer tools and Apple's X11 beta installed. I just installed a new installation of fink and want to get vim installed.
When I started the install I got: fink install vim sudo /sw/bin/fink install vim Password: Information about 924 packages read in 2 seconds. fink needs help picking an alternative to satisfy a virtual dependency. The candidates: (1) system-xfree86: Placeholder package for manually installed XFree86 (2) xfree86-base: XFree86 libraries, utilities, clients and data So, the question is, which one do I choose? Do I need to install xfree86 even after I installed Apple's X11? -- Jim Freeze ---------- A long memory is the most subversive idea in America. ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.NET email is sponsored by: SourceForge Enterprise Edition + IBM + LinuxWorld = Something 2 See! http://www.vasoftware.com _______________________________________________ Fink-beginners mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/fink-beginners
