I pasted my error message at the bottom of this email. I don't know exactly which package Fink was working on at the time; I'd typed "fink update-all" and it was updating several packages.
If I'm reading this right, Fink had downloaded & compiled gtkhtml1.1-dev & then found out it conflicted with the original gtkhtml. What confuses me is that it looks like /after/ Fink recognized this conflict, it tried to set up gtkhtml1.1-dev /anyway/. My questions are: is anything screwed up? or can I leave my setup as it is? should I do something to gnome-core-shlibs to make it accept gtk1.1-dev? should I now remove gtk1.1-dev or leave it there for later use?
