[Fink-beginners] Is it OK to update the Developer Tools

Hello all!

I have just installed fink Package manager version: 0.11.1
and Distribution version: 0.5.1.cvs

I used the selfupdate command and used CVS

Does anyone know if it is OK to download and install the latest Developer Tools CD from Apple or will that mess with fink or any of the files it has installed?
