[Fink-beginners] Problem with....?

I'm total newbie, & excuse how I write in english,
I have same problem with X11/Xfree86/fink.
My IMac is a 350 Mhz OSX 10.1.5 and I Download :
Fink 0.4.1 package manager 0.10.0

I do what the manual say, I think :) ....
If I start from XDarvin icon from application folder, this start but, after same second, I have e flash and nothing other.
If I start from terminal: startx -- -rootless -fakebuttons, say : startx command not found.
I verified on FINK TROUBLESHOOTING and is right
How can I verifier, if XFREE86 is good installed?
whath can I do?
