I did what you suggested but this did not help. I already had all of this before and have tried with the simple names and also with the names plus the version numbers � all to no avail. Fink just can't seem to find ANYTHING (after finding it in the list). Just what is the EXACT name of the files I am supposed to 'get'.

Anyway, I finally tried to get the 'system-xfree86' and you will see the mess that made below. It first says it is removing my xfree86 files and then tells me that I don't have them installed and that I must install them.
What the heck is going on?
