/sw/lib/postinstall.pl is missing because the fink package itself didn't get installed correctly, as your output below indicates.
The instructions you were following are out of date, in any case. According to the new official upgrade matrix (http://fink.sourceforge.net/download/upgrade.php), you should be able just to use "fink selfupdate", possibly twice, to go from a 10.1 setup to a 10.2 setup.
