I installed octave with apt-get (dselect doesn't work: see other post) but
don't know how to run it.
I type 'octave' at the command window but it says 'Command not found'
I thought it might be something to do with my path so I typed echo $PATH
and this is what is returned.
/sw/bin:/sw/sbin:/bin:/sbin:/usr/bin:/usr/sbin.....
If I do a find from the finder I find several files related to octave but I
have no clue on how to start it.
