I tried to install gnuplot today and ran into the following problem. Fink attempts to get the following file:
ftp://ftp.gnuplot.vt.edu/pub/gnuplot/testing/gnuplot-3.8h.0.tar.gz but can't find it. I FTP'd to the site and found gnuplot-3.7.3.tar.gz in /pub/gnuplot/. Now, I'm running fink in CVS mode... should I be trying to use binary packages instead? Thanks! James here's a log of what happened: [maxilla2:~] jasmith% fink install gnuplot sudo /sw/bin/fink install gnuplot Information about 1703 packages read in 1 seconds.
